I Put My Phone on Do Not Disturb

I let myself embrace real grass, for all the love and faith have tainted me. I am two pieces of different puzzles, still incomplete. I am trying to focus on what is, but half of that simply isn’t.
I Am. I am. I AM.
This air surrounds and flows through me. The water courses in my veins. My heart feels like ashes at this level. Yet when I hear the birds, I feel the rhythm in my lungs. My eyes betray me, seeing only mirages instead of reality. The buttery lunar moon would make a beautiful accessory.
But you are undermining things.
Beauty is not a burden or an adornment. You can’t reduce it to bones and nerves and an undead shell. Please look around. Put your phone down. You are not missing out on what was never yours. The world is small enough to fit in your palm if you let it.
There is no one here but you. Close your eyes, that is the truth.
